Job & Machine Context
Capture which fixture, soft jaws and stops are used, and where they live, so the next setup can find them instantly.
Later we’ll add: QR scan, fixture check-in/out, and photo thumbnails from last use.
Tool list structured for clarity — includes insert, grade, length, offset, and notes.
| # | Tool | Insert | Grade | Length | Offset | Notes |

Use photos as the fastest way to communicate how the part is fixtured and which jaws/stops are used.
Photo Capture (Placeholder)
Here we’ll add a [ Take Photo ] button that calls
getUserMedia and saves images into local storage.
Gallery
Thumbnails from this setup will appear here. For now, treat this as a placeholder card so we can tweak layout and spacing.
Quick one-tap audio notes so operators never have to type. For now this is design-only; we’ll wire MediaRecorder in the next pass.
Voice Recorder (Design-Only)
This will become a one-button recorder: tap to start, tap to stop, auto-attach to the current job / fixture / tool.
Saved Notes
Later we’ll list previous voice notes and allow playback.
Repeat setups live here. This is the “magic tab” — it pulls tools, fixtures, photos and notes from the last run.
Previous Setup Snapshot
Job, machine, material, fixtures, tooling and first-piece result from the last time this job ran will be summarised here.
Known Issues / Warnings
- Chatter on T7 at 0.200" depth → reduce stepdown.
- Clamp lightly on Op2 — thin wall flexes.
- Use Vise #3 only; others don’t repeat.
Later we’ll wire this to a proper log with timestamps and job linkage.
Close the loop on the setup with FAI (First Article Inspection) notes and any offset / comp changes needed to make the part good.
